Cookies and measurement

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Cookies that are necessary

Two small files are always set because the service cannot work without them: a session cookie (keeps you signed in for 30 days) and an anonymous visitor identifier (a random code used for your free daily quota, to protect the service from abuse and to remember your answer to the measurement banner). Neither contains personal information. Your theme and language preferences are kept in your browser's local storage.

Audience measurement

If you accept it in the banner, we record events such as "page viewed", "test started", "test finished", "pass bought", with the page, your interface language, your country (deduced from your IP address, which is not stored), your device type and where you came from. These events are stored on our own servers, in the European Union, for 13 months. They are linked to the anonymous visitor identifier and, if you are signed in, to your account, so that we can understand the journey of our users and improve the site. We do not share them with advertising networks.

If you accept, we also use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to measure visits and how the site is used. It sets its own cookies on this site (_ga and _ga_…, kept for 13 months) and Google keeps the data for 14 months. Google's advertising features and Google Signals are switched off, so these data are not used for advertising. If you refuse, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

If you refuse, we only count pages in aggregate, without any identifier.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time from your account page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will show the banner again.

Third-party services

The payment page is served by Stripe, which may set its own fraud-prevention cookies on its domain. The anti-robot check on the instant test (Cloudflare Turnstile) may store a technical token. Neither is used for advertising.
